Clew Winches provide convenient method of raising and lowering light and scenery battens, either with or without counterweights. Clew winches provide an elegant solution, with the features required for large and small venues.

Dependable holding capacity results from heavy duty construction combined with worm gearing and an automatic Weston style disc brake.
Easy installation is accomplished with the built-in wire rope guide bar aligned with the drum. Clew guide wires are anchored to the guide bar and can be spaced to accommodate clew widths up to 15 inches.
Designed for long life with ball and roller bearings, durable paint and plated finishes, and a large 5-9/16" diameter drum to help extend the life of the wire rope.
Flexible designs can be easily configured for mounting to wall or base, with either a single or double drum.
A load holding lockout pin secures the drum to the frame for secondary load holding and to prevent unauthorized use.
